My baby boy is 6 mo old and has had severe reflux since birth. Needless to say he has gotten used to being held & sleeping in the bed with us. It started with me sleeping in the recliner with him to keep him in an upright postion to decrease the spit up & gagging issues. Then it proceeded into our bed. Now we have the crib right next to the bed, but my son will not sleep in it all night. He is able to stay in it for about an hour or two, but will usually cry & I will rush over to pick him up. He does sleep about 6 hours or so, but it would be nice to wake up at 7 instead of 3/4 with him wanting to play. I am open to suggestions!!!! Thanks!

Btw, it took us forever to find a formula that worked best with Mady. Tried all kinds! Luckily, the Walmart brand of Similac Sensitive worked best for her. Cheap! Woohoo! Might wanna try if you're having formula issues.

my son had the same thing. Dr suggested tummy time more often along with nutramigen formula and to keep him up right for 15-25 minutes after feeding. Hope that helps

Hey. Mady had reflux. Thankfully she outgrew it at about 8 months! It was a rough go there for a while. I put her in her crib at 8 months. She slept thru the nite from 6 weeks to 8 months (til about 5 in the am). When she started teething, she woke up 1 or 2 times. She started sleeping thru the nite again at 10 months. She is having issues sleeping without me for naps, but nites are good. Maybe there is hope for your baby. When he grows out of the reflux, you'll feel like you can handle anything. lol Good luck!
