My son is 3 months old and still hasn't slept through the night. A few of our friends said their child was 2 months old before they slept through the night. He usually goes to bed around 10 sleeps till 4:30 for a feeding then will wake up for the day at 9. He usually fusses at 4:30, should I not bother feeding him and get him to fuss it out and fall asleep again?

Let him cry himself to sleep and you put him at risk of SIDS. Not to mention its pretty heartless.

Children do not put themselves consistently and willingly back to sleep until about age three (years).

Infants are expected to receive at least 25% of their nutrition during the night for at least the first year.

My almost ten month nurses 3-4 times a night.
