I am still feeding my little girl baby food and formula. But she seems to like table food better. Is it ok to start giving her only table food instead of the baby food? Also is it ok for her to have whole milk at this age?

Well the pedi told me she wanted her off the bottle by her 1 yr check up so i gave her a little whole milk in a sippy cup one day to see if she liked it, and she seemed fine with it. I just wasnt sure if it was ok to start giving it to her daily to get her used to it, or if I should wait a little longer. Thanks for the help!

My pedi told me it was ok to start feeding my LO table food at 9 months. She actually prefers now cause she likes to feed herself now. As for whole milk they say wait until they are a year but if you think she is ready then go for it just check with your pedi.

Yep, it's completely fine to give your daughter table food at that age. My daughter is about to be 11 months and hasn't had jar baby food since she was 8 months old. Basically she can eat whatever you are eating as long as it's not a choking hazard or an allergy risk (i.e. peanuts, etc). My daughter drinks whole milk now, but the "recommendation" is weaning them to whole milk by 12 months.
