My 8 1/2 monthold daugher loves to drink black iced tea and greeniced tea. Does anyone know are these safe for her?

You shouldn't give your baby tea at this young age. The caffeine for a start is not good for them and will cause all sorts of problems, wakefulness etc. Secondly the tannin in tea depletes iron stores and other minerals in the body. She should only be having milk and water at this stage.

I tried looking that up. What I gathered was just make sure that it is decaf tea, and to not give too much as babies under a year really shouldn't have anything other than breastmilk, formula, or a bit of water/juice (in a sippy cup).

I found out that some organic stores sell baby teas. I don't know if you would have a shop near you...you could also ask your sweet girl's doctor if you have more questions. :)

i don't drink sweetend tea and she usually sips out of my cup. But thanks for the response.

I would see if their is sugar in the tea if yes I would cut back or wait till they are older because of the teeth. I haven't hard of not giving babies tea but I do know NO HONEY!!!!
