My baby will be turning 4 months in one week. He was such a good sleeper until last week. All the sudden he keeps waking every 1.5 to 2 hours!!!! Very tough on me. He is also more fussy during the day and he has been having a rash on his chest and belly. I can't feel or see any teeth coming through. Any suggestions????

My son just turned 4 months and is teething. He has been grabbing at his ear a lot and drooling like carzy. His stools have been a little looser and he also had what looked like a little heat rash. The biggest sign was that he is ALWAYS biting something! We were at the dr today and he confirmed he has his two bottom teeth starting to come in, they just havent cut yet. His sleeping hasnt really been affected though...but he's been eating baby food for over a month and gets an 8oz bottle within 30 mins of going to bed. That is 3 scoops formula and one scoop rice cereal.

My son did that too for about a week or two at the same age!!! It could be a little bit of teething as well as a growth spurt!!! Maybe start giving him 2 tbsp of cereal mixed with formula (Not in bottle) and than his bottle and that may help him sleep more, he might just be hungry but from my experiences he was going through a growth spurt!!! I felt like a walking zombie lol Good luck, it will get better dont worry

When our little one started teething there was a LOT of drool. I was convinced she might be part alien, the way she was drooling. And this long strand would just drip drop down her chin : ) Still cute though. That went on (in the beginning for a couple of days before the painful part started. She tends to grab at her ears a lot when she's teething, and hands are in the mouth constantly. Some babies run a low-grade fever, if higher than 101 contact your Dr. We never had a rash on the chest or belly so I'm not sure if that's related. It might be a heat rash though? Best to call the Dr. on that one. So, if you think it's teething try Orajel, infant tylenol and teething toys that have been frozen in the freezer. Sometimes the orajel gives her just enough relief to calm down so she can fall asleep. Also, if your little on is hot and sweaty try using a wet cloth on his head. Good Luck! Speaking of Teething the hubby is going up with orajeled paci, and tylenol as his arsenol.. . wishin' him luck!!

when my kids started teething they started blowing bubbles really bad and slobbering really bad. also about the sleeping you might want to try feeding him baby food or even baby cereal to see if that works normally when they are not full enough they wont sleep very well at night so i would try that and see if that works. GOOD LUCK!!!
