Hello, I am an exercise teacher who specialises in pre & post natal and I would reccommend no exercise whilst the placenta is low. Sorry.

i got my last ultrasound results back today and at 29 weeks i still had a low lying placenta from my 20 week ultrasound, my midwife called me at home to tell me about it and to advise me to not have ANY sexual intercourse, or any lifting or streinuos activity, and to take it easy and page her if i have any spotting whatsoever, if you dont have a midewife then go into the hospital if you have spotting. I have an appoinmet tommorrow afternoon so it must be important to aviod those things for her to call me today when i would be in tommorw. She did tell me not to worry and that it was probably not a big deal and it would move up as my beely grows but she said its very important not to have sex, or lift anything thats too much for you

I did the same thing and when they checked mine it had moved enough. If it was bad then they would be checkingf you more. There isn't anything that you can do to hurt the situation so don't panic. The only way that it will effect the pregnancy is if it is covering the cervix and they would know that already. I ended up with a c-section, but that was a different reason. I wouldn't dilate past 3 cm in 14 hours. This had nothing to do with the placenta previa, I am only saying this so I can tell you that if that be the case because yours doesn't move enough, it is easy to have a c-section just relax and enjoy your pregnancy.

I had the same thing and it depends on where the placenta is. Mine was so close to the cervix that I had to get internal ultra sounds. As the pregnancy progresses the placenta is usually pulled up away from the cervix as the uterus grows. This isn't alway the case. If they didn't say much then there probably isn't anything to worry about yet. How far along are you?
