baby orajel works great on their gums, and yes frozen teething rings or soother dipped in ice water, I also give me daughter tempra to help with the fever and runny nose and find that helps her sleep.

Sometimes when nothing else with help my 6 month old (see just gets frustrated with teething rings) I give her a cold carrot (not baby carrots, big ones and under close supervision). She'll chew on a carrot for hours and just be the happiest little baby.

Try teething tablets, they dissolve in your mouth, but if they are still really young than you can crush them on your hand and rub them in their gums. My doctor said they weren't harmful and everything in them are perfectly fine to use. You can also give them a wet cold washcloth to chew on, and don't forget about Motrin.

I went to baby'r'us and found a pacifier that was a shape of rasberry and taste like it too. My daughter loves it she always have it near and all. And it works wonders for the teething and it helps the teeth to come out too.

My twin sons are teething so bad! I went to a Motherhood Maternity store and they sell these little pacifiers that are shaped like a raspberry. The nipple has bumps on it so they chew on it and they love it! If you find one put it in the freezer for a hour and that really helps.

My Mattie is all about her sippy cup (the Nuby generic kind) with cold water in it. She has been running a fever at times, so I have also given her some Motrin. She also seems to want a whole lot of cuddle time, and that I can handle.
