I am looking for pediatricians in New Haven county of CT that use the AAP-recommended growth WHO growth charts for breastfed babies. Do you know if your pediatrician uses them?

thanks for the link. I've been having trouble with my pediatrician, and one of my girlfriends told me that breastfed kids slim down sooner. But, having a chart is nice.

Sorry!! On vaccation and just checked in! I'm from Canada as well. Not sure what WHO stands for but I've see the growth carts they use and they make sure that baby in on the curve with head measurements, weight, and length. Not sure if it helps.

I only ask because of the spelling of pediatrician. The US does not commonly use WHO growth charts in pediatricians offices but hopefully that will change soon? Do other parts of the world use them routinely?

Our paediatrican only uses the growth chart for formula fed babies, drives me nuts! I was told years ago when my son, now almost 5, was a baby that they would soon use a breastfed only chart but I've yet to see! Would be nice to see how my daughter is growing compared to other exclusively breastfed babies, but I guess I'll never know.
