My daughter Alexis was born November 25 2008 at Humber River Regional Hospital in Toronto, ON. She weighed 8 pounds and was born by c-section. During my pregnancy I never craved food, never had back pain or swollen feet, however, when I would go for a walk I would get the most horrible pain in my lower abdomen. My pregnancy went great and there were no problems except that I had gained 60 pounds. She was due on December 4 2008 but right at the end is where the problems started. I went in for my regular check up and my doctor was concerned because Alexis wasn't dropping down, she was still very high up in my ribs. Thinking that she was breached, the doctor sent me for a ultrasound. That's when we found the problem, my daughter was strangling herself with the umbilical cord. I was rushed to the hospital and had an emergency c-section. She was perfectly healthy and there was no damage done. That was my happiest day and the start of my new life.

Roxanne ROCKS my world! She was born Sept.11th/08 in Kelowna General Hospital in beautiful British Columbia by an emergency c-section after 16 hours of intense labour! She weighed 8 lbs 13 oz. and has been growin steady like a weed ever since! We were both in the hospital for an extra week......there was complications with the c-section and she was born with low blood sugar and had to be monitored in the NICU! We're both doin great! Nice to meet everyone!

hi. My daughter Jayne was born 3rd Arpil 2008. She was born by a normal delivery 5 weeks early as I had pre-eclampsia and HELLP (a liver disorder during pregnancy). She weighed 5'11 but was only meant to weigh about 2'5 as she was so early. I was in hospital 2 days before I delivered and another 1 and a 1/2 weeks after birth to get my bloods back to normal and her jaundice down. :)
