I'm a size 14-16 right now, and I have a Maya Wrap ring sling that I love, and I also love my Babyhawk mei tai. I found the Ergo cut into my "fluff" too much, and I wouldn't do back carries in public with it. I'm going to try a Boba and see if that works better for me.

I second the Moby Wrap! I had one when my six year old was a baby, and I bought a new one to use with our new baby. I've tried most other types of carriers, and I find that many use padding either in the straps or the rails that was bulky and uncomfortable on my XL body.

Moby Wrap although are a one size fits all, they do offer a plus size and a petite version. I think you have to contact them via the website. The carrier is so versatile and being a plus myself i found that other carriers have thin straps that dig in making it uncomdortable. The moby has really wide straps that spread babies weight evenly without cutting into my shoullders. Hope this helps.
