Anyone else use a Baby Trekker?

I LOVE my baby trekker, I just got it, but it is FANTASTIC! It is a canadian made carrier, I got one that is organic, and as a bonus it actually fits my 300 plus hubby(he is not fat though, broad).
I was using a adjustable sling and a pouch sling, and for the first few months it was wonderful, until my daughter started wanting to sit up or sit facing out, and she is only 17 lbs at 8 months but that weight all on one shoulder was driving me nuts.
So, now this great and wonderful Trekker will be well used, I love wearing my daughter, and she loves it too! Must enjoy it well I can!
Anyone else out there loving there baby trekker?

If the weight is not mainly on your hips with the Baby Trekker then where is it? Your back and shoulders?
I'm glad you like the Baby Trekker. I just genuinely hope that it lasts you a good long while. I feel like the reason the ERGO is so comfortable is because it takes so much weight off of my back and shoulders. My son is almost 25lbs now and I don't imagine I would be able to carry him for very long in a carrier where the weight was primarily on my back and shoulders.

I noticed not much of a difference in the inward facing position compared to the ergo. I tried the ergo for a while and I did not like it, it put to much on my hips. I don't like the facing out position so much, b/c it really isn't a good position for posture and spine. There may be a difference with a male wearing it over a women. I do know that the men are suppose to wear it higher up on their belly then women, my husband enjoys it too. But if you have an ergo and love it, then there would be no sense in trying out the baby trekker, I was just told that if you don't like the ergo then people often like the baby trekker.

I have the ERGO (which I love) but I've seen the Baby Trekker. Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the baby kind of hang from his/her crotch in that carrier? That would definitely deter me from getting it. Also, I was talking to a dad not too long ago and he was asking me about my ERGO and saying that he had the Baby Trekker but didn't like it once his daughters legs got to be a certain length. He said they were always awkwardly hitting his thighs and he wasn't able to sit down if she was in the inward facing position.
