What is your baby's nap schedule

My daughter is 4 months old and I was wondering about her napping. Up until about 2 weeks ago, she was doing her normal 3 hour schedule, with an hour and a half of sleep each time, but lately she does not want to sleep. She is not cranky at all, but I was wondering what should her nap schedule look like at this time. She may sleep an hour here and there and sometimes she even skips naps. Do you remember what your baby's naps were like at this time?

Hi! From four months until she self-weaned, my daughter was on a four-hour schedule. Here was our basic routine, which we haven't deviated much from since.

7am - wake-up, nurse
9am - nap
11am - wake up, nurse
1pm - nap
3pm - wake up, nurse
5/5:30pm - catnap
6:30 - wake up, nurse
7pm - bedtime

We really haven't changed her schedule at all except to drop that last catnap and extend the second nap at around 10 months. It really sounds like your daughter is needing the extended schedule, which is normal for her age.

Looking at the post date, I see that this was a while ago. I hope you've found something that works! But maybe this will help someone else. :)

My own thought is My son was doing 3 naps a day (if we were at home all day, 2 if we were out and about) at this age. We would do a morning nap, early afternoon nap, and late afternoon nap (if he needed/wanted it). I really like getting them on a nap schedule. It may take some work but you'll be glad you did! You might need to let her CIO the first couple of times you lay her down for a nap at a certian time. but babywise hasn't failed me yet! so i'd say its worth a try =)

Hi my baby has just turned 4 months too and I've noticed that he can stay up for longer now. I used to do the 3 - 3 1/2 hour schedule and he would sleep for 1 1/2 hours but since he has been staying up longer between feeds ( about 2 hours max now) he would sleep for 2 hours...so his feedings have stretched out to 4 hourly.
