My daughter is getting in a habit of stating she is sick in order to stay home. She will be 6 this month. Any ideas on how to break this behavior?

PROBABLY SHE NEEDS SOME MOTIVATION... U CAN NARRATE UR CHILDHOOD EXPERIENCE OF SCHOOL. mostl the pleasant ones.. and advantages of school... u can motivate her to find her ambition that is what she wants to be and tell her the importance of school in fulfilling her ambition...wake her up with loving words and a hug and she may slowly quit her habit.. all the best:)

That isn't my daughters issue is the fact that she is having a issue with another student. My daughter talks to me about her school & she loves school. I may think it's the fact that she is not a morning person and she wants to sleep a little longer.

When my daughter doesn't want to go to school it's because she's having an issue with someone. I ask her to tell me whats wrong and sometimes I have to work at it but after she tells me and I help her, things get better in school and she's back to loving school.
