Switching schools

I switch my daughters school because I didnt think she was getting the proper attention at the school that she was in. she comes home crying every day from her knew school because she misses her old school. Did I make a good decision? And how do I help her adjust?

I assume school just started and she's only been in a week or 2? The transition can be hard - she misses her friends, the comfort of knowing her way around. We've had 2 kid's switch schools for their magnet programs. Give her time to make new friends. Be sure to go to back to school night so you get to know the school & teacher. And maybe try to meet up with friends from her old school so that she realizes she those friend's aren't gone. My girls stayed in the Girl Scout troop with their old friends so that they could still stay connected.
