I need a new Pediatrician. We were going to SouthWest Pediatrics- long wait, and just generally not a good experience the last 2 times, like Dr. Shah though. Here are my qualifications: Generally on time with appts., takes Blue Cross PPO, Doctors are calm and actually listen when you talk, doesn't charge an arm and a leg ( i don't know if well vists are a generic price across the board), downtown and going West are ok locations for me, nothing on the East side- too far for us. Thanks so much for your recommendations

Nicole, I went to Dr.Ho when I was a child, great Dr.!

My kids go to Dr. Senar off of Brimhall and Calloway. He use to be located across the street from San Joaquin Hospital, but moved earlier this year. We haven't had Bluecross in over 2 years, but when we did, he took it. You can always call to ask, his staff are always quick to help. 661-58seven-888two.
My children are almost 5 and 2, they love Dr. Senar, and I'm very pleased with his bedside manner and respect for parenting views. Good luck on finding the right Pedi!

Thank you so much, we don't have to go back until she is 2 in January but it is good to know a doctor to look into before then.

Ha, thats funny. When my son was born we also started with South West Pediatrics. Dr. Shah was wonderful but I must agree waiting so long with a infant and especially now as a toddler is a big no no. I also felt his staff was very cold and not polite. So after many recommendations we see Dr. Ho www.sandimaspeds.com

We are also on a PPO but I don't know if they take Blue Cross or not. Their Staff is wonderful, nice quite office, I have never experienced longer than a 5 minute wait and usually shorter than that. Both doctors really care and listen. Hope that helps!! Blessings!!
