Chewy Chocolate Chip Squares

1 c margarine, softened 2 eggs
1 c packed br sugar 2 1/2 c flour
1/2 c white sugar 1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla 1 1/2 c milk chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350F. In large bowl, beat margarine, sugars, vanilla and eggs until light and fluffy. Combine flour and baking soda; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips. Spread dough into greased 9x13-in pan. Bake 22-25 min until edges are light brown. Do not overbake as these will go hard if they do. They should be soft to the touch when touched in the middle. Cool. If desired before they cool, drizzle melted chocolate over top. Cut into squares.
