Hello.

I am due to go back to work in September and have started looking for daycare. My husband and I have kind of set our hearts on a home daycare so that our son has a more homey experience. I've interviewed a few places. Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations? I met with one provider that charges for 4 weeks vacation. Which makes it difficult for my husband and I since we both only get 3 weeks and don't want have to take them separate from each other. Also, any suggestions on things to look for when choosing a daycare provider?

update:
I have found a daycare provider!! I'm so very excited. We actually found her via Kijiji!! Which sounds kind of scary, but we interviewed 3 different people. Called all references and just felt so comfortable with her! Good luck to you all! Also, I would highly recommend the other 2 ladies I met with, but they weren't as close.

Have you thought of contacting any agencies ?? Or is that where you have been getting the names of the caregivers??
