How close is too close?

My ex and I separated when I was pregnant. He moved in with and married the woman he left me for. She has been in my son's life since he was born. He is 4 now. Should it bother me that my son seems closer to his step mom than his own father? I have been told by his dad that my son cries and clings to his step mom when it is time to leave to come home. She has told me that my son is "confused about who is real mommy is". He calls her "Momma Sue". Which bothers me but I have learned to let it go. I guess my biggest concern is for my son if something happens between them. Also it was stated in our divorce that my ex be present and the one directly caring for our son at all times during the visitation, because of his age. I do not see how his relationship with her could be this way if his father has been the one caring for him.

Any thoughts?

thats messed up if a court order appears to be that way , why ? is drugs or alcohol proven to be a factor if not then thats one thing, sounds like your ex and his wife love the control over your DS
