What's a simple but creative way to use spring/summer flowers to make something beautiful?

Decorate reused jam jars with twine, ribbon, doilies, or other scraps and whatnot you have on hand. Add a collection of backyard blooms and you have a no-cost bouquet in a custom vase. This is a simple way to take advantage of the season's abundant natural beauty. While the obvious choices are roses, peonies, and daylilies, consider wildflowers, herb cuttings, or even dandelions. Stick these bouquets in windowsills and on nightstands. Or give them as gifts! A sure way to brighten any home and life. We recently made these as neighbor gifts.
