Hospitality, abundant trees, lakes, beaches and delicious food, are what make the South unique from other places I've lived and traveled. I love to be places where I feel welcome, wanted, and relaxed and there's no place like the South for that.
The kids and I enjoy gardening, hiking, and most of all.. going to the beach. We have a swing in our backyard that we love to sit on a just chat and look at the beautiful flowers, vegetables, and fruits we've worked hard to grow. Besides hanging around our own home to enjoy the outdoors, we love to visit Georgia State Parks and go camping.
Our favorite family destinations are Callaway Gardens in Pine Mountain Georgia and The King and Prince Golf and Beach Resort in St. Simons Georgia. These two destinations are close to Atlanta and are hands down the best destinations for building family memories! Otherwise, we love going Orlando which is where I grew up and where we visit often to see my father and enjoy a relaxing vacation whether we visit the Disney parks or just swim in the lake and enjoy local shopping.
