Now here is an oldie but a goodie done way back in my first year of blogging. Ours is an adult Western Party that could easily be transformed into a kiddie rodeo minus the ax tossing of course. My favorite decoration was cutting the back pockets out of my boys' very old, torn, ripped up jeans and using them for the flatware and napkins. I got this idea from a western shop in Wyoming. We had steak and taters, salad with cowboy croutons, and some nice peach cobbler for dessert with ice cream. Kids always love a good Western Party.
As an aside- if you click on the link to Wyoming Home from my post, you will see the store front and in the upper window that juts out you will see the room where my great, great, great, great Uncle Tom Horn was framed for the murder of a young boy. Tom Horn's a famous western outlaw.
