For me, a great pair of boots that I can walk comfortably in, yet make me feel fabulous when I wear them are a must have item...especially for fall! My favorite pair of boots are a vintage 70s pair that were my mama's!

I'm definitely in favor of family days versus mommy and me days too! There are plenty of fathers who stay home with their children now and they should feel welcome at parent/child events! Planning activities that would be enjoyable for both sexes would be a start...

My absolute favorite shoe is for moms on the go is the Sam Edelman Gigi sandal...It's flat...It's comfortable...but it's still incredibly chic! Oh, and it comes in a fabulous array of colors and prints!

I find that I can most easily find what I'm looking for when my closet is grouped by type of piece, i.e. dresses, pants, blouses...When I helped my best friend style a few post-baby looks recently, it really helped that her closet was properly organized!

I'm a big believer in splurging on concealer...Most of us mamas don't get eight hours of sleep and that can show under our eyes. YSL's Touche Eclat has been a life changer for me!

What's a great source to buy formal clothing for children?

Janie and Jack has gorgeous, classic clothing for kiddos. The beautiful, smocked pieces remind me of the kinds of outfits my mama used to dress me in when I was a kiddo! Although, they aren't inexpensive, they're the kind of pieces that will hold up and can be passed down. And there's always the sale section!
