In what ways is Northern California unique from other places you've lived or traveled?

We love local life unlike anywhere I've been. Whether this be via food, music, or exploring the outdoors, Northern Californians are addicted to finding the best of the west.

What outdoor activity do you enjoy doing most with your kids?

Since our oldest was a baby, we've had our kids on bikes. We bike to school, downtown for dinner or the farmer's market, or just out for fun ride. Our family ranges in ages from 2 to 41, this is a favorite we can all do together. The kids especially love our night rides!

What's a great Northern California destination for a family vacation?

Lake Tahoe is Northern California's gem. The summer in Tahoe is the best! When most Northern California beaches are fogged in, Lake Tahoe is a summer playground with clear skies, turquoise water, and miles and miles of trails to explore. In the winter, it is the perfect place to cozy up next to a fire, explore one of the many ski resorts, or find a nearby hill to sled. Kids of all ages will delight in Tahoe no matter the season.
