Twitter. I follow a lot of comedians. They provide endless reading material, better than magazines.

What's your child's weirdest habit?

Letting the dogs clean their face/hands after they eat. That's a habit, right?

What's the most bizarre parenting product or children's toy you've seen or heard of?

I still think wipe warmers are a little weird. Kids these days and their pampered booties...

Last summer, working on potty training our 2 year old. Me: Kate, do you want to try going potty before we go swimming? Kate: No. I pee in pool.

What are the best ways to keep kids entertained & well-behaved at a formal event or luncheon such as wedding?

There are times when you have to pull out the big guns - bring along their favorite person if possible, such as their grandma/grandpa. Also have the type of candy that takes kids a little bit of time to unopen (ie: starbursts, mini reeses pb cups) - for bribery. I have also brought the iPad with new downloaded games, and crossed my fingers that the volume didn't get turned up!

Last year, after Halloween, I would put granola trail mix out in a bowl instead of their leftover candy. The kids never complained. And I ate way too much of the stashed candy... www.bug-bytes.net
