In what way is the South unique from other places you've lived or traveled?

I haven't traveled much in my life (at least not further than Mississippi) but I have always loved living in the south. Especially Texas. I hope to one day move out to the country and have a small farm but that day will come in time. Living in the south is good and bad in so many ways! Especially Texas. The weather is never what it is expected to be and you are always caught by surprise by something!

What outdoor activity do you enjoy doing most with your kids?

I love going camping and fishing with my son. The earlier you start them, the more their love for the activity will grow. He thinks the "fishies" flipping around is hilarious and it never gets old seeing him light up and laugh.

What's a great destination for a family vacation in the South?

For me, I love going to any lakes around but there are so many cool attractions that Texas just hits the sport for me in general! I hope to be able to get around all of Texas some time! There is so much to explore!
