What's a great destination for a family vacation in Australia?
Broome in Western Australia is the perfect place for a family vacation. Everybody is relaxed and running on 'Broome Time' and you are hours away from any sign of hustle and bustle. Broome is famous for its pearls, sunsets and beautiful beaches. What more could you ask for?
What's the biggest misconception people have about raising a family in Australia?
We don't all have kangaroos in our backyards and dingoes don't eat our babies.
Despite the stereotypes we are fairly normal here in Australia. We are busy mums raising families just like any other mum around the world. Except it's MUM not MOM.
What outdoor activity do you enjoy doing most with your kids?
We love to take our six kiddos to the beach.
Many an afternoon is spent watching them play on the sand and swim in the surf. We are blessed with good weather and we make the most of the outdoors as much as we can.
I have never seen snow!

What's a great finger food that your kids love? Please include a link.
Finger foods are essential items at our house. In fact they should be a whole food group on their own. With a busy household and 6 children we are always out and about. I try my hardest to make sure they are nutritious but tasty otherwise they just don't get eaten.

Maggie (13 months) just loves anything musical, she will happily spend her day clapping and dancing.
I found these two musical instruments at the Melbourne Queen Victoria Markets. I got them both for under $10 and they are her absolute favourites. I also love that they were made for little people in mind, lead free paint and completely child/baby safe.

What's an affordable family summer vacation destination? (please include a link)
Bali, Indonesia is the perfect family holiday destination. Admittedly I live in Western Australia and Bali is just over a 3 hour flight away. We have been many many times and hold beautiful memories of the region. The Balinese have to be the most gentlest race on this Earth and will go out of their way to ensure you and your family have a wonderful and memorable holiday.
