How do you encourage your children to help keep the house organized?

To keep my children involved with helping around the house, I have created chore charts and they work really well. I sell a lot of different printable chore chart designs in my Etsy Shop.

What advice do you have for moms trying to manage their home more effectively?

I advice that one takes small itsy bitsy baby steps in becoming organized. Create a place for everything and teach yourself and your family members to put everything back into it's proper place. I've found that the easiest way in keeping up with an organized home is having all family members contribute to helping.

What's the biggest challenge when keeping a home organized?

I would say that the biggest challenge to keeping a home organized is again similar to my answer to the question above.

The biggest challenge is simply teaching yourself and your children to return items to their proper "home."

If one creates a place for everything and puts everything back into it's proper place after using it, this can be avoided.
