Did you know that you can freeze watermelon? Just chop it up and place in on a cookie sheet in the freezer. Once frozen solid you can store them in freezer baggies. Now you have that fabulously tasting watermelon ready for any recipe. My favorite... strawberry, watermelon smoothies!! This is perfect for a summer day! Plus, since watermelon is in season it is very frugal! If you freeze it, you can have this delicious smoothie even in the winter!
