What advice would you give to moms who are struggling with PPD?
You're not alone. PPD is so common, and it's okay to ask for help. Reach out to the communities you can find (online or in person) and we'll back you up. And it will get better.
When you're struggling with a physical or mental illness, how do you keep up with all the demands of motherhood?
The answer to this is simple but difficult: ask for help. Which involves knowing when I need something (and knowing what that is). I've learned to cut myself some slack. If I need a break, some TV won't kill my kid.
What's a mood booster that helps you get through a bad day?
Reading inspiring posts from other PPD moms who get it and who find ways to triumph day after day.

I think overall I'm feeling resolved to take all the lessons I learned this year after some very hard experiences and continue to find inspiration in them and to share that inspiration with others. I'd love to be able to look back on 2012 as I am on 2011 - thinking it was an unexpected, enlightening and life-changing year.
