My husband has long planned an expatriate assignment in his career, and thus when the opportunity came it was a quick decision - a couple hours of discussion and an affirmative reply in the morning. I will admit, I originally pictured it all coming at a different time; the decision two weeks before giving birth, and the move five months later!
Clermont-Ferrand is a vibrant town situated in central France. A short train ride from Paris, Lyon, Bordeaux and the Mediterranean, it is also located in the heart of volcano and forest country, leaving us a million places to explore. Quite paradoxically, I only wish there were a low-cost carrier or a high-speed train line!
