What tips would you give a mom who wants to write a book?

Gather your ideas and talk to an agent. Mine -- Mollie Glick -- really helped me organize a big galumph of ideas into something a solid (non-ranting) proposal.

How do you balance writing and motherhood?

Writing's a job like any other.

Where do you find writing inspiration?

To my glory or detriment, I go around life shocked, outraged, delighted (or confused) by pretty much everything I see, read or hear. I also believe you can learn SOMETHING from everyone, even the lady on the phone trying to figure out why your phone bill is all screwed up.
