Hello! At Happenstance Home I like to decorate, craft, and cook. As we update spaces in our home I like to share our progress. Right now I am finishing up my sons room, and we are renovating a bath.

Of all the DIY projects you've done, which was your favorite?

What's your advice for moms who want to decorate their home on a budget?

Where do you find inspiration for keeping your home stylish?

What's your top inexpensive way to make your home festive for the holidays?

Canning jars are super useful. I use them as candle holders - you can tie decorations on them for extra fun. I use them to hold desserts such as grandma's chocolate pudding. I use them for drinks. The really small size jars are nice to make taste size desserts. You can also usually score free greens anywhere that Christmas trees are sold. If you ask they usually have a pile of leftovers that were cut from the bottoms of the trees.
