Do you think the government should pay stay-at-home moms for their work of raising children and managing a household?

No, no and no! Why on earth would anyone want to open that can of worms and allow the government that much control over their home and personal life? A mother caring for her children is as natural as you eating each day and you shouldn't be paid to do it. If the government offered me money personally to stay home with my kids I would reject it in a heartbeat.Do you try to give back when you declutter? Please share your family traditions for benefitting others.

Our family loves to shop for old books and one of our favorite places to do so is a local thrift store. We leave there with bags full of books and spend $20 or less. The thrift store not only benefits us by filling our shelves with books way below cost, but they hand out food to the needy in the community multiple times a week and allow low income families getting into their first home to come and choose furniture and household needs at no cost to help get them started. Because they are such a treasure to us and our community, whenever we are getting rid of clutter we pack up the give away stuff to donate to this thrift store every time. We know that someone else will get a chance to pick it up at an extreme low cost and any profits go right back into the community.|
