Our water table is my toddler's favorite outdoor toy. She splashes happily in it on warm afternoons. These can be sort of pricey but you can almost always score them for $15 or less at garage or consignment sales!

We made piggy banks and pencil holders and vases out of leftover formula cans (we had a LOT of formula cans!) The piggy banks were a huge hit for gifts, we wrapped them in colorful paper, trimmed them with ribbon and cut a slit in the top for coins!
