What's your favorite subject to photograph, besides your kids?
There is nothing I don't like photographing. I love the medium and there is nothing better in the world to me than shooting. This has made me more mindful and more observant so much more present.
Which camera do you usually use?
Canon Rebel T1i, Canon 50D and KSX Super 35mm.
What's a creative way to display photographs?
I have used everything from canvas to the metal frame for my daughters crib to display pictures. http://www.adrianairis.com/2011/01/because.html
Now there are products where you can display your images on fabric even wood.

What's a great present under $30 for a baby (under 18 months)?
My favorite would be My Pal Violet from Leap Frog. This toy grows with your kids from 4 months of age until 3. Violet connects to the computer so you can customize the music and personalize the learning with your child’s name and favorite food, animal and color. Violet comes with 5 pre-loaded songs. I have seen it from 19.99 and this toy is worth the 20 bucks.

What are your tips for planning an affordable birthday party?
My trick is quite simple. Please understand this is for 9-12 year old girl.
I limit the amount of guest. In return I can focus on the children present and in exchange not only the quality of food its better, but the favors and even the decor because it is more of a controlled chaos.
I have pictures on my blog of my daughters 11th Birthday. A Luau. Cost $100.00 and then later that evening I celebrated another friend which her Bday was the day before with the leftover decor. So there you have it.

What are the best ways to keep kids entertained & well-behaved at a formal event or luncheon such as wedding?
I took my 20 month old to an event and I packed a Dora activity book with stickers during the ceremony she remained calm and quiet putting stickers all over the book. Nowadays ceremonies are not too long and it was enough time for it. I also packed some fresh fruit cups I made at home for her to eat while we waited for dinner to be served. Afterwards it was dancing and she was ready to move around and dance with everyone else.
