Where do you discover new kid-friendly crafts?

The crafts that we end up doing at home usually come about 1 of 2 ways. Either as a follow up activity to something we're reading about or something of interest at the moment, or by letting the materials we have on hand, inspire us.
Try going through a tub of recycled materials and see what your child can come up with! :)

What's one creative product you would recommend to all moms?

Only one? Oh dear. Hmm, well, I guess that we just could not do without paint. Paint is used here for fun, to get creative, for sensory learning, for playful maths for literacy learning, for science activities and more. We couldn't do without paint.

How do you encourage your child to explore their creativity?

I enjoy providing my child with Invitations to Play. This is where I choose a few select materials to present together and then step back and see where they take it. I enjoy presenting them with opportunities for problem solving and creative thinking where they are forced to think outside the box. And, if the kids decide for themselves that they need other materials etc, for whatever they're creating, I'm happy to provide them.
