I try never to throw anything that someone else could use away. When I'm out running errands I also include used books which are dropped off at our loca library, used clothes and household items to re-sale shops of Goodwill. These are things than can be put to good use by someone else. Our church has a prayer quilt ministry which I participate in so leftover fabic gets made up into a scrappy quilt top to be made in a quilt for the sick and dying in our parish. Nothing goes to waste.
