What are the top 3 pieces of advice you would give to a new mom (or mom-to-be)?

1. Listen to you instincts. You know your child better than anyone else! 2. It's okay if you don't bond with your baby right away. It will happen soon. I promise! 3. Don't be shy to ask for help in the beginning. Being a new mom can be difficult and exhausting!

What's the best parenting advice your mom gave you?

Not to be overly dramatic, but my mom didn't give me much advice because she died when my daughter was 8 weeks old. She was able to meet her granddaughter a couple of times before she died, thankfully! The main advice she gave me was to have patience and be relaxed. I'm still struggling with both of these areas, and my daughter is now 7!

What's your favorite song for kids that moms can download?

A song that my daughter and I both love to sign along to is Anything at All by Joey King (she played Ramona in the Ramona and Beezus movie). It's a great song for preteen girls. It's very light, fun and bubble-gummy!
