What's the best part of raising a family in Australia?

Freedom, space, opportunity, adventure and the vast difference of the countries landscape.

In what ways is Australia unique from other places you've lived or traveled?

We have only lived in Australia, but have recently moved from the East Coast of Australia to a remote part of Outback Western Australia and boy is living here 'unique'. We used to take out beach and ocean views for granted, now we long for them.

But having travelled to other countries we have discovered that some unique to Australia is space. In a lot of other country people tend to live on top of each other. Here that is not generally the case.
