Q. What is the best product you've reviewed that you think every mom should own? (please include a link to the review)

A. In my opinion, it's usually those small conveniences that make a mom's life a little easier. We love our gadgets and tools, but at the end of the day, it's the things we use most that make the biggest difference. Take wipes, for example. What mom doesn't keep them in the car, purse or somewhere nearby to clean up spills, wipe noses or take care of that last minute face wipe before you walk into soccer practice? That's why Natural Essentials Wipes top my list of products I think every mom should own.

They are 100% cotton, all natural, flushable and paraben and phthalate free. They come in a variety of scents and there are separate products for noses (which I use as an all-purpose wipe), fevers and first aid (great for mosquito bites too!). Nothing fancy or expensive, but essential nonetheless. It's definitely one of my favorite and regularly recommended products!

Q. What's your favorite song for kids that moms can download?

A. "Words That Rhyme With Orange" by Ross King is a cd that's been on heavy rotation since we first heard about it a few years ago. We love the whole thing, but I suppose our two favorites are "Happy To Be Me" and "Don't Do It." The entire CD is awesome. Q. What are your tips for planning an affordable birthday party?

A. (1) Don't get carried away. Usually kids are able to enjoy simpler things--it's moms who whirl themselves into a frenzy trying to do the biggest and best party ever. (2) Spend more time planning than shopping. Put your effort into staying organized and searching carefully for the best deals. (3) Keep it fun and don't drive yourself crazy.

Q. What tips can you offer for closet organization?

A. Purge. Purge. Purge.

The best way to start organizing your closets is to get rid of things that you don't wear or use. Why bother trying to fit and organize those things if you know you don't need them?

After purging, get rid of things that belong. Since my kids are still young, there stuff is everywhere. I move that out of the way along with any trash (broken hangars, cleaner bags, etc.).

Finally, everything needs a place--a rack for shoes, basket for purses, tie hanger for belts and ties. Once you have a place for everything, put everything in its place (good luck with keeping it there!).

Q. What's your family's favorite board game, and why? (Please mention the best ages for the game)

A. Our current favorite (it changes a lot) is "You've Been Sentenced." It's a hilarious game that requires players to make complete, justifiable sentences using the enclosed cards. It's slated for 8 and above but my son began playing at 6 with a little help.
