However, I attribute her recently learned behaviors of crossing her arms when she's upset ("humph") and throwing herself on the floor to his poor attitude and behavior on the show. Pressed flowers are a timeless and easy craft. Have the kiddos gather a bunch of wildflowers, and put them between waxed paper in between the last two pages of a heavy book. A few days later, remove the flowers and the kiddos can glue them onto a piece of construction paper and make up their own "field of flowers."What are your family's favorite activities for keeping cool in the heat (indoor or out)? There are lots of parks in our area with "Splash Pads" that are practically like taking your kid to Sea World or some amusement park. Fun fountains, buckets that dump water, and spray hoses are a great way to beat the heat and keep cool in the heat. Just do a google search for "splash pads" in your city to find one near you!McKinney's Blogger SoundOff Posts
