What's your favorite thing to do on family night?

Pull out our sleeper sofa, load it up with pillows and blankets and watch a movie. We always make popcorn on the stove together and eat it while we watch our movie.

What has surprised you most about motherhood?

I didn't understand the depths of love I could feel until I had children. The awesome feelings of joy along with the complete frustration that occurs pretty much everyday. I was surprised by how much closer my husband and I became after having children. I always heard having kids is stressful on a marriage. I can see how this is true, especially since we have no family in the state to help us but overall our kids have brought my husband and I much closer. We are 100% committed to our marriage.

I had NO IDEA how much I would be talking about poop. Gross!

What's your favorite game to play as a family?

My kids are mostly too young for games but we love to play Uno with our oldest. We LOVE a good dance party!!!

What's a cute or creative way to decorate the walls of a child's room? Please include a link to an image.

Embroidery hoop artwork! I bought a lot of hoops for $35. Then I used fabric remnants to cover a large space on one wall. The wall is painted pale pink so the beautiful fabrics really stand out. This project was very inexpensive and looks stunning. Better yet, anyone can do it. All you need to do is trace and cut a circle for each hoop.
