Just say NO! Sometimes the BEST carpool option is to NOT carpool at all. That way you're not reliant on other people's schedules to be on time - which can be incredibly stressful! Plus, if your carpool companion bails last minute, you're not in a lurch. This is how I keep my carpool running smoothly. I just don't do it!
