We all like to hang out together on our King Size bed and watch TV, or a movie. My husband and I don't mind cartoons (although Dora can be quite annoying), and actually adore movies favored by our three-and-a-half year old like Shrek, Despicable Me, and Cars, so it works out for everyone.
That I had to totally reinvent myself in every way, after becoming a mother. Everything changed: my career, my body, the way I felt about myself, my circle of friends, my interest in politics and mothers' and women's issues--just every aspect of my life was touched by this enormous transition.
We like playing Candyland, but mostly we enjoy putting puzzles together. I stick to putting together the pieces for the borders and my daughter and husband work on the inside pieces. I especially like puzzles because they require neither electricity or WI-FI, and are a good way to build my daughter's ability to concentrate and problem solve.
