Homemade Granola Bars! They are portable, filling & super duper nutritious snacks to cut through the “hankiness” (hungry = crankiness) until dinner...especially on the road. Unfortunately, sometimes there is a list of ingredients on the labels that are longer than my favorite novel. It includes everything from tons of butter and oils to preservatives with boat loads of sugar. My “Apricot-Granola Bar Nibbles with Dark Chocolate Topping” are little cuties that are simply made with natural ingredients, yet showcase wholesome dried fruit, honey, sun butter; finished off with some antioxidant-rich dark chocolate. Kids love them and the mommies and daddies will definitely be sneaking in a few bites.
