Traditionally I will pass on goodies to friends that I know would love or need something that I'm clearing out (I was once soooo happy to pass on ooodles of spare plates & bowls to a friend who had only 4 - she loved receiving and using them and I loved clearing out my excess) - or i will drive to my closest SPCA/AIDS Hospice shops, drop off the goodies there and let them benefit from whatever monies they make by selling my old goodies.
