Sit in the living room drinking wine (just Kris and I, not the kids) and hang out. Honestly. That's what we do. There is no TV in that room. Sometimes the kids might be playing an iPad, other times they might be chatting with us. Sydney is always sans clothing and often times one of them is snuggling right between Kris and I on the couch. It is our favorite way to spend time.
Ha! Motherhood! I never expected to get so lost. I did not anticipate being so confident in coming around to define my existence through motherhood. We also homeschool and attachment parent (we have 4 bedrooms and one bed and my 3 year old still nurses). Now THAT was a shocker for me!
We are not big game people. When we do play games we like acting games. Charades is big and we play a game where one of us suggests something for another to be, like "a cat" or "a hockey stick". Oh, we also like Zingo.
