What inspired you to start blogging?

As a Fashion Consultant I have to do a great deal of research on trends and what’s going on in the fashion industry, but I found I couldn’t personally relate to half of what I found. My clients, and myself included, aren’t in our 20’s, don’t have endless funds nor do we have a lifestyle where we can run around in micro minis and four inch stilettos. I wanted to reach out to an audience who want to be fashionable but functional as well.

How do you keep up with the latest fashions and being a mom?

For me it’s not about keeping up with, but staying true to who I am and how I feel. I make sure that my closet is filled with items that: Fit, Flatter, have Function in my lifestyle as well as make me Feel fabulous! I call it the Fundamental Four.

What are three fashion tips for busy moms?

# Only have items in your closet that Fit and Flatter you, have Function in your lifestyle and make you Feel fabulous. This will allow you to get dressed quickly and without beating yourself up.
# Try and have all of your jewelry out and visible so you can see how to accessorize as you’re getting dressed. I hang mine on a corkboard and pearl pins. And have it next to my full length mirror.
# Remember that how you dress and take care of yourself does make an impression on your children.
