I think scanning an old childhood photo, especially one that revolved around the holidays, into your computer, and creating a retro picture file with it takes a very special moment and brings it into the present again. There are tons of card stock choices for mounting the photo, get creative with stamps surrounding the photo too if desired, and add a personal message inside. The whole family can do this!

A nice supper out with the girlfriends! Take one night and make sure Mom doesn't do the cooking or the dishes.... but instead gets to dish all the latest with her closest girl friends while dining out somewhere special!

Practical and modern looking is a small gallery wire set-up, like the type mounted along a single wall to hang art work from in art galleries. These can be purchased at art suppliers for moderate prices and are mounted as a rail along the length of a room with wire for each canvas or print to suspend from it. I've seen family prints and pics suspended at various widths apart along a family room wall, office, or studio space... and at any given time you can switch them up. Your family will have fun becoming your home's own personal gallery display along side their best crafts and paintings from school...
