What political issue are you most passionate about?

I am most passionate on the issues of education, economic conservatism, and national security.

How do you to teach your children the importance of civic duty?

I began bringing my son with me to vote from the time he was 2 months old and as he grew up. He went into the voting booths with me and watched the process. I always took the opportunity to talk about civic duty to our community and citizen activism. Now that he is voting age himself, he knows that he loses the right to complain if he doesn't vote.

What's a political issue you've changed your views on?

I've come to the conclusion that gay marriage is an issue that should be addressed. I was of the opinion that civil unions with legal rights were the way to go but now I think that gay marriage is a human right.
